About Coach

When I joined CrossFit in 2016, I was hooked! Over time, I have had many coach’s that I love to learn from, making note of certain cues that worked. When I had the chance to take the coaching course, I jumped at it! I’m always up for an adventure, and love learning new techniques!

Turning Point

I had always wanted to be the “strong girl” when I was growing up. I was met with much doubt within my family, as that seemed like a “silly” wish. I played basketball, and volleyball, and was a runner all through school. I loved the competition aspect. Unfortunately, I wasn’t strong enough, and didn’t have access to the means to get me there. I tried to remain active into adulthood, but raising a family tends to become the priority, instead of myself. I finally took the plunge, and joined CrossFit when I was 47 years old. My strength, coordination, and confidence have since sky rocketed. The biggest lesson I learned was that consistency pays off. You cannot expect everything all at once. I was patient, and slowly things have started to fall into place!

Motivation & Passion

My passion for coaching is to teach anyone, regardless of age or abilities, that they can do whatever they set their mind to. It is very satisfying to see someone move in a way that they haven’t in years, or lifted a weight that they never imagined they would!
